Is there anything I should know about the location?

Our wedding will take place in West Bay, Roatán—where turquoise water, lush greenery, and soft Caribbean air set the scene. Everything will be outdoors, designed to feel relaxed and organic. Roatán (or as the locals say, Roa) has a rich cultural heartbeat, deeply influenced by the Garífuna people—An Afro-Indigenous community known for their music, dance, and vibrant traditions. You'll feel that spirit throughout the island.

What will the weather be like?

April in West Bay is warm, breezy, and tropical—in other words, perfection. Expect daytime temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s° F (20-29°C), with slightly cooler evenings. Humidity is present but balanced by ocean breezes.

What is the dress code for the event?

The dress code is Black Tie Tropical. Ladies: we want you to shine like the jewels you are! Wear floor-length gowns in bold, vibrant jewel tones—think emerald, cobalt, ruby, fuchsia, coral, tangerine, marigold, turquoise, and such—try to skip dark pallets, and muted earth tones. Gentlemen: we know you run hot—and Roatán will not be shy about reminding you. Formalwear is absolutely welcome, but feel free to opt for breathable fabrics. Lightweight suits or tuxedos in fabrics like linen or cotton blends are recommended.

When should we arrive?

We recommend arriving no later than April 16th to give yourself time to settle in and avoid any travel hiccups. That said, this is Roatán—not a place you rush in and out of. Come as early as you'd like, and stay as long as you wish.

If we're not staying at Ibagari Hotel, how do we get to the venue?

We'll provide shuttle service (details closer to the wedding). Rental cars and taxis—both standard and private—are also easy to find in West Bay.

Will children be allowed at the wedding?

We're so excited to celebrate with you in Roatán and welcome families to enjoy the trip. However, we are limiting our wedding guest list to adults and children in the wedding party or immediate family only. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring more guests than listed on the invitation?

As much as we'd love to include everyone, we're keeping the celebration intimate. Only those listed on your invitation will have a reserved seat. Thank you for understanding.

What is the bride and groom's event schedule?

We'll be arriving in Roatán no later than April 15th and will be there through the wedding weekend. We're so excited to spend meaningful time with everyone beyond just the big day.
